Small World by Marlip manufactures concept furniture for children and in so doing assumes responsibility and consequently never compromises on children’s safety.

Every single piece of Small World furniture has been designed and developed considering the observation of all recommended safety measures. All lying surfaces, side heights, distances between bars and boards, distances between steps of ladders, distances between bottoms and upper edges are safely thought through.

In addition all edges and corners are softly rounded and the furniture is stable. Children may pull at the bars and jump in the beds.

Baby cots, playpens, low and high sleepers and bunk beds have special additional safety tests. All these types of Small World furniture items are safety approved according to the strict European safety norms and carry the internationally recognised GS label (Geprufte Sicherheit) which guarantees that a long series of safety measures have been met and in this way the children’s and the parent’s guarantee for optimum safety is attained.

Any product that has ovals shown can have a choice of oval and will be included in the price.

Oval plate are available with a child’s name, various nursery rhyme images (to be announced soon) or just a plain colour can be put on the interchangeable oval plates.

If a customer wishes extra ovals these can be purchased seperately.

Small World furniture colours available are mostly combinations of white, honey, pale blue and pink.

All beds require slats priced seperately as flat hardwood slats or sprung beech slats at extra cost.

The boy’s Baronial Castle bed is available only in blue and curtains and flag are priced seperately.

All prices quoted are flatpack in cardboard boxes - We can quote for an assembly service if required

Please note that the manufacturer imposes a minimum order of £450 for textiles and since a customer’s requirements will be less than this we must impose a surcharge of £35 unless we have sufficient current orders pending. However, if a customer orders furniture together with textiles this charge will be waived.
